About these terms
These terms apply to your use of the Insta Tools website and all of the tools on it. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What Insta Tools does
Insta Tools provides free online tools that retrieve content that is already publicly available on Instagram, such as photos, videos, reels, stories, highlights, profile pictures, bios, captions and hashtags, when you enter a link or a username.
The tools work only with public accounts and public posts. They cannot access private accounts or any content that requires signing in.
Not affiliated with Instagram
Insta Tools is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. “Instagram” is a trademark of its owner and is used here only to describe what our tools work with.
Your responsibilities
Content on Instagram belongs to the people who created it. We do not own it and we do not grant you any rights to it. You are responsible for how you use anything you save or copy with our tools. In particular, you agree:
- to use the tools for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as keeping a copy for yourself;
- to respect copyright, trademarks and other people's privacy, and to ask the creator for permission before you reuse or republish their content;
- not to use the tools to harass, stalk or impersonate anyone, or to harm anyone in any other way;
- to follow the laws that apply to you and the rules of the platforms you use.
Fair use of the service
- Do not use bots, scripts or automated requests to overload the service or to extract data at scale.
- Do not try to get around rate limits, captchas or other security measures.
- Do not try to gain unauthorized access to the website, its servers or its admin area.
If we notice abuse, we may limit or block access to the service.
Availability and changes
The tools are provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. Instagram can change the way it delivers content at any time, so individual tools may occasionally stop working, return incomplete results or be removed.
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service without notice.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, for the content you access through the tools, or for the way you use it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and nothing in them affects the rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory laws of your country.
Requests from content owners
If you own content and have a concern about how our tools interact with it, please contact us and we will look into it promptly. Please note that we do not host Instagram content ourselves: it stays on Instagram, where its owner can delete it or make it private.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. If you keep using the site after an update, the revised terms apply.
